Questions people ask
- Is DuesBox a full HOA management platform?
- No. DuesBox handles the household roster and the money: assessments, payments, renewals, and records. It does not do violation tracking, architectural review requests, reserve studies, or a community website. Self-managed associations usually find dues collection is the part worth automating first.
- We collect one assessment a year. Does that work?
- Yes. Create an annual plan at your assessment amount and every household renews on their anniversary date. Households that saved a card are charged automatically; the rest get reminders and pay however you've told them to.
- How do we handle households that pay by check?
- Exactly as you do now, with better records. Your payment instructions appear on each household's dues page, and recording the check takes two clicks and rolls their next assessment date forward.
- Can two board members both have access?
